In this updated version, Kink now uses a c-clip to keep the pivots in place, along with a new oversized bushing that keep the coil spring centered for maximum tire clearance. The desist brakes are one of the best options on the market to run as a front brake with the design of the cable routing. A unique straddle cable and cable pivot design also aid to a better and smoother pull. Kink also through in a set of Kool Stop pads an all the hardware necessary to use these as a front, rear or dual cable setup.
